On February 9th, Amazon will announce … something.

The company will be holding an “important” press conference at the Morgan Library in New York on Monday, Feb. 9.   People are hoping that this will be the announcement of Kindle version 2.0.

Personally, I’m still hoping for software updates for Notes organization and Book organization.  I can always dream..

His Heart in his Mouth, or unknown tricks with the Kindle

While reading Ken Follett’s Pillars of the Earth on his Kindle, Mark Hurst of Good Experience was struck/annoyed by recurrences of the phrase “his heart in his mouth”. He used the Kindle’s text search and discovered this particular dead horse 17 times in the book.

The Kindle was Amazon’s Top Selling Gadget in 2008

According to Amazon’s news release, the Kindle even beat out the iPod and the Flip camera. (via 26th Story)
